Sponsors

Howe's Landscaping and Design have been restructuring lately and this has lead to looking at different forms of marketing. We are also keen to get the gardening fraternity planning landscaping projects as they would any other extension to their living space. Creating a display garden at local flower show was one idea and have seen people getting sponsorship for such events. Have'nt used sponsors before any success stories on how to go about this???

Thanks Kerrie, will do.
Can you explain exactly how a sponsors role would work - I am not quite with you on this V.
Not sure if it's exactly the same thing, but I worked with a coordinator for the PDSA charity and each year they hooked up with a designer to produce a garden for the Tatton Park RHS Show.

The PR team of the PDSA would work to get both local and national coverage, often within magazines, to ensure the garden designer gained some publicity.

Naturally the gardens were animal themed, so it was possible to spin out "Five tips for an animal friendly garden" type of releases, and with a little imagination from the PR team you could get some strong coverage.
